Tim Mercer Is Working On His Dream
Like everyone else, Tim Mercer also had a rough start, but he found that goal exciting, and he gained experience as he saw himself becoming great or pro. During the summers before his high school years, Tim Mercer played golf every day from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, and then he became his high school team captain, where he played on number one spot and was voted for the conference too. In 2008 he achieved a golf scholarship while he was going to graduate from Roosevelt high school. But he could not focus on golf due to his challenging studies as he had put a lot of effort into graduating after high school. Still, after acquiring the associate’s degree, he decided to devote time and dedication to focus on golf at an expert level.
When he came home, he started training at the South Gleason golf course, where he met a gem of a person in Chicago who was recruiting players for the team. In 2012 he received a scholarship to play for Chicago State University. Through the ups and downs of his roller-coaster life, he finally started playing for his dream, and today he has done several challenges.

He has started with “The DSG 200 Speed Challenge”, under which he has challenged himself against trackman four, a machine, and he would like to break the speed record of the device or the man, which is something no golfer has done till date.
