NAC Breda, which is officially known by the name of NAC, is a well-known Dutch Professional Football club which is based out of Breda in Netherlands. NAC Breda team plays in the stadium known as Rat Verlegh Stadium which is named after THE Champion player named as Antoon ‘Rat’ Verlegh. Speaking of their historical victories, NAC won the national title in the year 1921. In addition to the same they also won one cup in the year 1973.
Their foundation was realized on September 19, 1912, when the merge of two popular clubs known as ADVENDO and NOAD was realized. NOAD stands for NooitOpgevenAltjidDoorzetten, which is translated as “Never give up, always persevere” in English. ADVENDO, on the other hand stands for Aangenaam Door Vermaak En Nuttig Door Ontspanning, which is translated as “Pleasant for its entertainment and useful for its relaxation”. This is how NAC Breda got its abbreviation as NooitOpgevenAltjidDoorzetten, Aangenaam Door Vermaak En Nuttig Door Ontspanning, Combinatie Breda.
In the year 2003, NAC added the suffix of Breda as a symbol of gratitude and respect after the name of the city Breda as they bought NAC’s Rat Verlegh Stadium when they were facing financial debts in the club. In the year 2012, NAC initiated their first logo for the 2012-2013 seasons when StefaanEskes succeeded Ed Busselaar.

In the recent years, the gold champion watch which was auctioned due to financial debts, was bought by NAC supporter Marcel Van Hoojidonk and presented to NAC museum.
